Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Ayberk Ersoy ("we", "us", or "our") collects when you use our mobile applications published on the Apple App Store and Google Play (the "Apps") and this website, how we collect it, what we use it for, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and how you can exercise your rights, including requesting deletion.

Our Apps are designed to collect as little data as possible. Most Apps work without an account, and the data you create in them stays on your device. If a specific App collects data beyond what is described here, this is stated in that App's App Store privacy details ("App Privacy" label) and in an app-specific notice inside the App.

Data Controller

The controller responsible for processing your personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

Ayberk Ersoy
Email: contact@apps.ayberkersoy.com

Information We Collect and How We Collect It

Data stored on your device

Content you create and settings you choose in our Apps (for example preferences, saved items, or progress) are stored locally on your device. We do not receive or have access to this data. If an App offers iCloud sync, this data is stored in your private iCloud account under Apple's control, and we cannot access it either. This data is deleted when you delete the App (or, for iCloud data, when you remove it from your iCloud settings).

Purchase information

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never receive your name, payment card, or billing address. We receive only transaction information needed to unlock and verify your purchase (such as product identifier, purchase date, subscription status, and an anonymous transaction or app user ID). If an App uses a subscription-management service such as RevenueCat, that service processes the same transaction information on our behalf.

Crash reports and diagnostics

If you have enabled "Share with App Developers" in your device's analytics settings, Apple provides us with anonymous crash reports and performance data (device model, OS version, and technical logs). This data does not identify you, and you can turn it off at any time under Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements.

Information you send us

When you contact us by email, we receive your email address, your message, and anything you choose to include, and use it only to answer your request.

Device permissions

Some Apps may ask for access to features such as the camera, photos, microphone, or notifications. We request a permission only when it is needed for a feature you use, and the data is processed on your device unless the App clearly explains otherwise. You can grant or revoke permissions at any time in your device's Settings.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your personal data or share it for targeted advertising.
  • We do not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies. If an App ever needs to do so, it will first ask for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt.
  • We do not build user profiles or combine data with other sources.

How We Use Information and Legal Bases

  • Providing the Apps and purchased features: to verify purchases and restore them on your devices (performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Fixing bugs and keeping the Apps stable: using crash and diagnostic data (our legitimate interest in reliable software, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, or your consent where you enabled sharing, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
  • Answering your requests: replying to support emails (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR).
  • Complying with the law: for example tax and accounting obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time, effective for the future.

Third-Party Services and Sharing

We share data only with the service providers needed to run the Apps, and only for the purposes described above. Each provider is required by contract, or by its own binding terms, to protect your data to the same or an equivalent standard as described in this policy. Depending on the App, these may include:

  • Apple (App Store distribution, purchases, crash reports, iCloud): Apple Privacy Policy
  • Google (Google Play distribution and purchases): Google Privacy Policy
  • RevenueCat (subscription management, where used): RevenueCat Privacy Policy

Any additional third-party service used by a specific App (for example an analytics or crash-reporting SDK) is listed in that App's App Store privacy details and in-app notice. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

International Transfers

Some of our service providers are located outside the European Economic Area, including the United States. Where this is the case, transfers are based on an adequacy decision (such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Data Retention and Deletion

  • On-device data stays on your device until you delete it or remove the App.
  • Purchase records are kept for as long as needed to provide your purchases and as required by tax and commercial law (up to 10 years under German law).
  • Crash reports are retained by Apple according to Apple's policies and are not combined with other data by us.
  • Support emails are deleted no later than 2 years after your request is resolved, unless we are legally required to keep them.
  • Accounts: if an App lets you create an account, you can delete the account and its associated data directly within the App. You can also email us to request deletion.

Your Rights

Under the GDPR and similar laws, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Have your data deleted (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Restrict processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR)
  • Withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7(3) GDPR)
  • Lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU member state where you live

To exercise any of these rights, including deleting your data or revoking consent, email us at contact@apps.ayberkersoy.com. We will respond within one month. You can also revoke device permissions in Settings or delete the App at any time to stop all data processing by the App.

California residents

California residents have the right to know, delete, and correct personal information and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or "share" personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA.

App-Specific Details

OmniBlock

OmniBlock blocks distracting apps and websites using Apple's Screen Time APIs (Family Controls, Managed Settings, and Device Activity). OmniBlock collects no data: we receive nothing from the App, it contains no analytics or third-party SDKs, and it requires no account. Its App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected".

  • Screen Time data. When you choose apps, categories, or websites to block, iOS gives OmniBlock only anonymous tokens. OmniBlock cannot see which apps you picked, and it does not read your app usage or screen time. Screen Time data is never sent to us or anyone else, and is never used for advertising or data mining.
  • Routines and typed website domains. The names, days, times, and modes of your routines, and the website domains you type, are stored on your device. If you subscribe to OmniBlock Pro and turn on "Sync with iCloud", they sync through your own private iCloud database to your other devices. We cannot access that database. App picks are not synced and stay on each device.
  • Intentional Focus reasons. Reasons you write before taking a break never leave your device, and are deleted automatically after 90 days. You can delete them sooner in the App's Settings.
  • Focus statistics and streaks are calculated and stored only on your device.
  • Notifications (for example a mindful-pause prompt or a free-trial reminder) are scheduled locally on your device. No push notification content is sent by us. iCloud may use silent background notifications to deliver sync changes.
  • Purchases of OmniBlock Pro are handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. The App checks your subscription status on your device. No subscription-management service is used.

To remove OmniBlock's data: delete the App to erase everything stored on the device. To remove synced routines, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Account Storage > OmniBlock. You can revoke OmniBlock's Screen Time access at any time in iOS Settings, which removes all of its blocks.

Children's Privacy

Our Apps are not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU, where national law requires it). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for any data sent from the Apps, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however.

This Website

This website does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking. When you visit it, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data (IP address, browser type, date and time of access) in server logs to deliver the site and keep it secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These logs are deleted after a short period.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our Apps or legal requirements change. We will post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. If changes are material, we will also notify you within the Apps.
